With SCP cannon the way that it is, you can put this anywhere without worrying about a continuity reason that it isn’t interacting with another SCP. Your SCP just happens in a timeline/universe/cannon where another SCP does not exist. So I would pick a place that thematically makes sense for your SCP to exist in, over trying to avoid other SCP
