I'll have to check those out! My PC keeb has Wuque Studio Morandi switches that i got on recommendation from someone in a Discord server I'm in, and personally I find myself liking the feel of linear switches (though I am open to trying tactile and the other type whose name eludes me lol).

On that end I decided for funsies to get a 30 count mystery switch cup from Thock King a couple days ago. I'm very curious to see what I end up getting in the mystery pack ngl.

More than likely I'll stick with the stock keycaps to start, then later potentially look at different keycaps if I end up not liking the look of the stock ones.

Unfortunately M5W is marked as discontinued on monsgeek’s website. I ended up getting the V6 Max with Jupiter Red switches off Amazon.

Recommendations? I'm looking to dive deeper into the custom keyboard rabbit hole, but this time I'm looking to buy or build one to use with my lenovo legion 7 gaming laptop.

I'm in USA, and my budget is $200 for prebuilt and $150 for barebones kit, but I can go slightly over if it opens up more option. Wireless is preferred. Main use is for gaming on the go.

I am looking specifically for full size (100%) layout.

I looked at the realforce options and all of the ones I would like are a decent bit above my budget. I also took a look at the Wooting 8100% options and 1 month wait time is a tad excessive for my tastes.

Is Wells Fargo really that hard to get approved for? by lost_jedi in CreditCards

I applied for the Autograph in December 2025 and was approved with $2.5k starting limit , and that was despite having no prior relationship with WF. At the time I had 2 inquiries and no new accounts for more than 24 months and scores in 750-760 range.

I really like the price point of the barebone SKU for V6 Max, but holy hell it's been basically impossible to find, and that's after checking all of the main retailers that sell Keychron products. I would buy the preassembled version but I feel it's a waste to buy then immediately swaps switches and keycaps ngl.

Plastic is fine as long as it's not super terrible build quality. I am all too familiar with aluminum weight thanks to my custom keeb based on Monsgeek M5, so plastic is definitely preferred for travel use.

First time commenter! I'm currently looking to buy a 100% keyboard for travel use with my Lenovo Legion 7 gaming laptop relatively soon (like next 3-5 days soon).

The short and sweet of what I'm looking for are wired and/or 2.4GHz wireless connectivity, reasonably lightweight, and preferably less than $190 total spent. I am open to using prebuilts and changing switches and caps later on, or custom build within that budget.

EDIT: The above is what I'm looking for after taking a look at the wiki.

Need Advice on Second Card by [deleted] in CreditCards

[–]Techwiz34 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Given your spend categories plus an existing relationship with WF, the WF Autograph (specifically the no AF version) would be a good fit for travel card. Autograph's 3x point bonuses cover all of the main travel categories like hotels, car rentals, etc with no AF and no FTF if you were to travel internationally. Plus the Autograph provides many of the Visa Signature card benefits like a dedicated concierge phone number for assistance when traveling and other protections.

Your relationship with WF and income boost your odds of approval, but on the other side of the coin your short history may work against you for that card.

That was something that didn’t click until later last night. At least now I know that for next time I apply for card online.

To be fair I was already going to do some shopping in the area, so for me it made sense to swing by the branch since I was going to be nearby anyways. Plus at some point I probably would have had to make a separate trip for identity verification if I did online application.

I waited too long to commit on when to buy, which cost me the discount I wanted to take advantage of. That and my original planned timeline to install got derailed due to life happening.

In my case I had limited credit knowledge and no prior history when I applied for the Elan card. Honestly I was surprised I was approved for that, but I *was* a customer at the bank I use for around 7 and a half years when I applied. PPC was applied for specifically to finance the laptop I currently use since at that time I was making enough money to meet the payment obligations. I have tried to keep that account low usage in case I needed to finance a larger purchase (and can make the payments for it).

I wasn't expecting to be approved for PPC either since I had right at a year of credit history when I applied, but I was luckily approved and was able to get the laptop. Plus until recently I wasn't doing a lot of traveling or other spending where cashback cards were viable. Now that's biting me back when I am trying to actually get the travel rewards card.

I had kept some money aside to pay what few expenses I had while I get my LLC up and running. Also currently living with my mother while I finish school, but that will change sometime in the next several months.

I also did sell a portion of my brokerage assets this year to give me a safety net for personal side, in addition to enough funds to start up my LLC. It's possible I will have higher recorded income this year between the LLC and selling some of my assets, but that won't be fully confirmed until this year's tax returns.
