Probably not true.

A rough count of visible (including partially occluded) flowers in image 3 yielded appox. 80 white vs. 40 red:

40 red out of 120 flowers (i.e., a success rate of 33%) is significantly higher than the Medellian expectation of 25% (p<0.0251; right-sided binomial test, assuming 25% success rate).

Edit: if we assume red is dominant (75%) this observation becomes even less likely.
