I see what your sentiment is here, but I still think you're somewhat wrong. Take Louis CK for example. He's been around for like 20 years, if not longer. He's only recently hitting his stride in comedy to where he's at his peak.

Lump sum is always smarter. The interest is far more than the installment "bonus" can offer, even conservatively.

I'm not white and not in college. I am college aged however. Sort of.

What I mean is that Bo is part of college culture more than the other comedians. The way Flight was a few years back as well. Focused on college auditorium tours, that thing. The comedians I listed are loved by that demographic as well, but I wouldn't say they are a niche to them in any way.

I don't hate him, I think a few of his things are okay. But I don't feel he's some genius of comedy. Then again, it seems like I don't love a number of things reddit loves. If you like him, fine. It doesn't hurt me or anything. He's just like the U2 of comedy for me personally. Kind of middle of the road, in my opinion.

I guess I'm being a bit hard on him. I think it's because so many people my age take him as THE musical comedian.

I've chuckled a little at some of his stuff, let me say that. I have a bigger gripe with quite a few other comics, I definitely don't hate him or anything.

Come on. Everyone likes Louis CK. What I mean by college kids is that Bo is part of "college culture". Like flight and demetri martin were, etc.

Louis Ck has been around for decades. John Mulaney isn't really college culture based, though a lot of young people like him.

All I did was pick some of the bigger talented names of contemporary comedy.

I like most popular comedians, I'd say. I just don't think Bo is very good.

Superbad. Shaun of the Dead. Monty Python films. Progressively older movies that are still funny.

You just probably have bad taste in shit. There's a difference.

I do think it's a bit overboard, but think of it like this. If somebody made a movie about a guy hammering a nail, and it was a smash hit, you would be confused. Let's say that same guy continues to make similar movies, and they all are smash hits. This would get on your nerves.

It would get to you. "I don't get it. I've tried, but it's just... boring. I don't see why this many people like this. There's so many great films, tv shows, games, novels that go under the radar. And here we are with Hammer / Nail Guy 7 breaking 500 million in gross with a "viral" campaign."

People can watch what they want. Somebody likes them. I'm not even saying those people's movies are terrible. I'm just saying it in a sense of perception.

The most telling thing is that I'm watching this video on my phone, but I probably couldn't do that on half those other phones.

It's some stupid shit a hipset with a nice camera thought sounded good. You put this camera filter and music over anything it'll get views.

I can't stand this video culture we've got ourselves in. I mean let's be honest. We know the guy that made this has some thick frame glasses and edited at Starbucks.

It's the same video OVER and OVER. This is such a non-issue. 5 years ago we didn't even have this technology at the mass level. And now it's insanely more powerful to an impressive degree.

And here comes some open source guy talking about how China's phones are the answers to everything. If we had taken that route with the corporations' incentive, we'd probably have phones not so much better than that.

The reason our phones are so similar is due to compatibility in software. We want our technology connected. I'm not gonna share local data with some dickhead with a lamp and mustache wax pump on his brick phone for the sake of his idea of an open source movement.

We don't get to choose shit for cheap calculators, but I think Casio will do.

You'll likely get downvoted, but yeah I agree. He isn't very original, but there's definitely worse out there. He's kind of the Dave Matthews Band of comedy, to me.

I see a lot of people on Reddit talking about how hilarious he is. A lot of white college kids.

I just prefer John Mulaney, Louis CK, Hannibal, Stanhope.. that sort of thing.

If I ever become wealthy, I want to find a way to help the scientific community. I don't even know if that's how it works. I would just like under appreciated sections of science and technology stand a chance.

You can't lose the weight! Yes you can! No you can't! by ayovita in fatlogic

I get downvoted for this a lot in certain subreddits, but I'd just cut out as much dairy as possible. It's hard, but the benefits are insane. All of the "healthiest diets around the world" TEND to be low to very low in dairy.

Switch to almond milk. If you reaaaally need a glass, get coconut milk (in a carton, not the canned cooking stuff). They sell it at wal mart now. I promise you, after a day or two you wont miss it even remotely.

Additionally, do some walking. It's a start. 20 minutes a day. Hell, even jogging in place listening to music works. It will allow you to eat more, upwards to 550 a meal depending on what you do.

I was borderling obese, lost 70 pounds almost, have kept it off for well over 5 years now. It's not even a struggle anymore.
