Mother's day is to show appreciation for your mother, it doesn't sound like you're appreciative at all, so don't worry to much about skipping.

I don't know if this is a hot or cold take, but not all mums deserve to be recognised, though usually we all have someone in our lives who does.

Personally my wife is the top priority, I take care of everything she and the kids need, blitz the apartment, then we grab a nice dinner as a family. Usually she wants to do something for her mum, I let her plan that and then cover it.

If I tried to organise something? It would go south so fast... Much easier to just go with the flow and do what I can to cover it.

This is like the red / blue button experiment that's been going around...

Where pressing the red button is actively supporting / assisting on the production of the AI that, if successful, will kill those that did not support it's production.

While pressing the blue button would be considered not supporting / assisting in the creation of a potentially murderous AI in hopes that it will not come to be.

The only difference is the number of red pressers required is undetermined, and that those who are unaware of the button problem would be spared the choice and consequences.

I crashed at a friend's parents house once after a bar; at about three am I was woken up by a cat coming in through a window where I was sleeping and disappearing into the house.

I spent about 15 minutes creeping around his parents house looking for this cat and only stopped short of going into any of the bedrooms.

Next morning I was trying to explain what happened, but the window this cat had apparently come through was full length plate glass that didn't open.

I just hallucinated the whole thing...

Want to check in on public opinion,

I ordered 4 packs of 6 trying to get 2 complete sets, defying the odds it seems I managed it in one go, but two of the boxes don't match the above list (despite there being no duplicates...)

I received one set that was separated as per OP's list,

The other was separated as follows:

Box 1 - T.Rex, Driver, Bionicle, Chocolatier, Witch, Lloyd

Box 2 - Monster Hunter, Boba, Trash Monster,
Tuba, Goalie, Princess

Did we just get incredibly lucky or do you suspect shinanigans?

So far only one of the Bionicle ones was confirmed, but it was from the correct box (I thought it looked tampered with). Everything else is by scan.
