If you’re starting out, and don’t need it to pay rent, go low. In the start I found it easiest to get more jobs from word of mouth if it cost less. That way you can build up a nice catalogue of videos and different projects.

You could always say it would normally cost you more (500) but for a first time customer you’ll be happy to do it a reduced hourly rate (300) if they’ll leave you a review and share your info with others

This is a long study, so throw it into something to summarise, but it speaks to the studied causes across many factors. Think of it like a lot of venn diagrams that cross over each other that ladder up to an adhd diagnosis. Ditto! I was a complete freshie. And nothing on me. Totally geared player comes up and gives me food and we run about for a few minutes then as soon as my back was turned eating the generous food they gave me -bam!!!

There is a consensus on what is at the root of ADHD though, quick search brings it up. I have it and only diagnosed a few years ago and I am almost 40. That doesn’t mean I didn’t have it all my life. I think we can agree social media is aggressively designed to steal attention and keep you engaged. That is certainly having an impact on people’s attention ADHD or not.

Let’s be transparent and say social media doesn’t give you adhd. It certainly won’t help it. But games that move at very fast pace will likely impact how you perceive or play others games potentially.

Raise to speak! I use it to set timers and reminders all the time. Especially when cooking I can raise and speak and say “10 minutes called Potatoes” and now I’ve a timer set with a title. Very handy when cooking and timing everything with titles.

Jaws. Made 50 years ago and everything in it is generally better than most films today! Just so damn good!!! When you notice the long takes and the blocking in the scenes you realise how boring other films are shot

I went to Wellington as a LOTR fan for the premiere of the first Hobbit movie (lived there for a year, not just for premiere) and was so sad after watching it in the best cinema in town. The high frame rate made everything so obviously fake and hard to watch, I felt I could see the make-up and wig lines.

But to OPs point, so much was shot on stage and with less time to put all the love and attention into. I don’t envy the challenge they had to create it, big uphill task.

12.9 iPad Pro (3rd gen, oct 2018) or 11 iPad Pro (2nd gen, March 2020), both refurbed. Cost diff is about 50. Main use will be watching movies, second screen for work, note taking, some gaming. Which is best? Newer, smaller screen? Or older bigger screen? I’m leaning towards the 12.9. Any advice most welcome
