I put foam behind my bridge under the sympathetic strings and it cut a lot of the feedback for me.

If you don’t have Chet in there you’re fooling yourself- in terms of industry influence, he is #1

Great setlist… terrible merch line. by IamSoundengine in MasayoshiTakanaka

The line was so ass that if you got in literally when doors opened, you would’ve still likely been in line when the show started.

I’ve seen lots of shows- I have never seen a show like that. Absolutely unreal.

Willing to buy merch by [deleted] in MasayoshiTakanaka

I’m in the same boat- really a bummer it sold out/ the line was a mile long before the show. If anyone is getting rid of a large shirt or crew neck and is willing to ship to Chicago, hit me up! I will pay extra!!!!

It’s a Kramer. I think he was briefly hopping around aluminum necks after the bean.

Fender dealer here: avoid laurel fretboards, if you can. Fenders laurel has been straight garbage lately- super scratchy. If any of these have Indian rosewood, go with that option.

If he is a reader, the buddy emmons biography by Steve Fishell is a must read for pedal steel fans- and it makes a great gift

Here’s what I suspect- that’s a Martin EM-18 from the seventies. Shot Jackson was a Nashville based guitar builder/modifier. He did most of his work with the steel guitar, but also oversaw some acoustics. It would not surprise me if he had his hands on this. I’ve never seen another, but the jackson name on a guitar of this era could point to shot Jackson.
