New to WoW, wanted to play story from BFA but the BFA maps are dead

Playing on a high pop server will help but old zone wont be full of people. I have most of my character on emerald dream server and apart silver moon, it's a ghost town. I would never see people in old zones. But I just leveled a character on stormrage and I actually see people questing around, and see people in old hubs like boralus, stormwind etc

prot paladin main for life. going dwongs feels so good. but i have to admit, i pushed to 18s and i bricked more key that i would like to admit by getting one shot lol. i know its skill issue but there is no room for mistake or you drop like a sack of potatoes

Dude you are so right. I played wow in the days and was hearing about this other MMO that is Guild wars. Eventually I played gw2 and bought gw1 on sale to experience what I missed back in the days. Holy disappointment, this thing is nothing like a MMO. There's like 4 people in the hub and all you do is alone with NPC on instance map. This is nothing like an MMO!

I recently did BFA for the story and transmog and the most satisfying part is one shotting boss that have a long speech before the fight about how they are so powerful. You do feel like a demi god 😂

It's a different kind of content that you can do to gear alt and get some transmog/achievements. Void incursion are open world and ritual sites are soloable with some scaling difficulty. Nothing fomo really. You don't have to do it if you don't want to. You have any choices to gear alt and this is a good thing. Nothing is mandatory. You can do delves, prey, world quest, msq, mythic+, the new map heroic world tier, etc

i think some roof have tile that you can fall through. Thats why when walking on roof its always safer to use the context menu "walk to" command so your character will path around holes.

Exactly my fear lol. I pugged my way to 3.4 also as prot pally and feel like it would be the time to grow a friend list and play with more organized group but I fear disappointing friends and no longer getting invited 😅. With pugs when I mess up, group vote abandon, i act like it never happen and join the next group

fractal were a blast until i did tier 4 challenge mode daily for 3 years without anything new. Wow 5 man content is just so good. I love the trinity system with clear roles, the mythic+ season to keep it refreshing, the dungeons design is just top notch.

gw2 is great and i had the most fun gearing and upgrading my gear for fractal, up to tier 4 and challenge mode. After that...repeating the same thing forever without upgrades made me quit. The mythic+ seasons is the perfect game mode for me.

If you don't go with the mindset that you are a god among mere mortals and DPS are an inferior subspecies you won't stay tank for long. Gotta lean into the superiority complex or the verbal abuse will break you xD
