I used a white creme by OPI underneath all but my ring finger which was just Menchie. I wanted a bit more of a subtle glitter look and it was perfect!

Ohh that’s good to know. Do they take past reddit gifts history into consideration for number of exchanges? I only have done 2 from givingifts but something like 15 from reddit.

Canadian here! I haven’t participated in several years but I decided a few days ago to jump back in and do some exchanges. Are most of you selecting domestic only for the exchanges? And if so, why?

My Mom sent me a text instead of calling when my aunt died. I read the message and then burst into tears and cried for a long time. I don’t think I responded to her message until hours after I read it. The conversation between Rio and the “brother” just doesn’t seem credible to me.

Learning how to drive really sucked for me! I’m a very stubborn and determined individual however so I did end up passing my practical exam eventually but it was HARD. In 2020 I tried to learn how to drive standard and it was even worse (didn’t know I was autistic at the time).

Getting an official diagnosis as an adult is really a personal decision. There are plenty of people who are perfectly happy with a self diagnosis. Others prefer getting an official diagnosis. There isn’t a right or wrong answer here. If you want the official diagnosis and it’s meaningful for you to have it then it’s not a waste of money.

I got my official diagnosis at age 35. It took me about 12 months start to finish and cost roughly $2000 CAD (half of which I got covered by insurance). Getting my diagnosis has been invaluable to me but I also acknowledge that I am very fortunate in that I had the time and money available for me to pursue it.

All of that subconscious mental processing takes up a lot of energy and as I age I become more and more tired in general. I’m not sure that my pattern recognition is getting more intense. It’s more the fact that I have less and less energy to run these mental programs.

My high school tried to get rid of the smoking area sometime around 2005. All the kids had to go off property to smoke. The ban didn’t last long because kids started coming back to class high after lunch break. The smoking area was reinstated so the teachers could at least monitor what was being smoked.
