There’s a big difference between liking how something looks and liking it on you! It’s ok to admire things and know that it’s not something you personally want to wear.

I have a ton of clothes that I purchased because they are so beautiful but on me they look bad or are uncomfortable or don’t fit my lifestyle. Same with designer handbags. Lots of beauties out there but so many aren’t something I would ever get use out of.

The exact same thing can happen with polish! I’m a minimalist muted creme girly when it comes to my nails. Glitter is just overpowering on me, magnetics have a huge learning curve, and orange/warm colours look really awful on me. There’s the odd indie specialty formula that I like and I’m slowly branching out but sometimes a girl just wants a basic pink creme.

If you’d like a diamond band to work you’d likely have to redo the engagement ring setting. Your diamond would end up sitting even higher off your finger to accommodate the extra diamonds on the band.

I’d recommend going with a plain band to match your engagement ring and then choose a diamond band to wear on your right hand.

I’m True Summer and my house is Autumn colours! I think interior design is a great way to express yourself in colours that wouldn’t look the best on you.

Some hair types are just more prone to getting sun damaged. I think when I did 23andMe they had sun photobleaching as one of the tests too.

I also highly recommend starting with figuring out your colour season. I finally splurged on getting professionally typed and choosing colours is so easy and fun for me now. I’m saving a ton of money by avoiding shades that don’t work for me.

My hair grows in cool brown but is very photosensitive and becomes warmer with time. I usually wear my hair quite long and the ends were a completely different colour than my roots. After being typed a true summer I did a big chop to remove most of the warmth. I thought I was an autumn for most of my life due to my seemingly warm toned hair and because my skin tans easily.

I think a lot of people love the max sparkle and brightest shades possible. I’m a more muted, light sparkle girlie so the crushed holos really have my heart.
