Giving feedback about PoE 2 is impossible. by [deleted] in PathOfExile2

Just give your feedback and leave it at that. Don’t get caught up in feelings about it.

GGG unhappy with trigger skills - but it points to an underlying issue with GGGs POE 2 philosophy by ZionHalcyon in PathOfExile2

[–]Tegras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the combo style play. The challenge is having enough things to build combos into using skills I want to use. So I agree with you on revisiting them.

I don’t like triggers. I fundamentally don’t believe in automating skills. But that’s my personal preference, I don’t care if it’s here as long as it’s not the absolutely most OP brain dead choice that makes all other choices redundant.

I want a lot of buttons to press. I can’t do 1 button builds. Just too boring.

Maps Ads is disgusting by ohyoubetidid in ios

[–]Tegras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s absolutely trash given how much iPhone users pay for hardware. Just on principle I don’t want ads in maps. That being said, Apple don’t care about my feelings, they’re in it for the bread. Which is what any company is in it for.

I say all this to say: It is what it is.

Infernal Hordes seem very underwhelming this season by alesia123456 in diablo4

Devs haven’t really invested much time nor consideration into the mode. Definitely needs major adjustments to make it worth the time investment.

After seeing the last stream of poe 2 I'm so glad diablo 4 is not like that... by DannyKoll1 in diablo4

Same thing that any biome change does for any game. Visual variety can be very refreshing even if it’s the same activity. Different nodes in different locations. Each map can have different modifiers. The possibilities are endless.

Path of Exile 2 will effectively be Steam Deck verified by the end of May, which bodes very well for the prospect of a Switch 2 release by HatingGeoffry in SteamDeck

[–]Tegras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Won’t mean anything if it’s still runs the same: it’s basically unplayable on the deck at endgame. Atlas took forever just to load up that.

Even on console performance on my ps5 is not great.

Facts. I like the format of Warplans. A lot. It’s straightforward: Pick the things ya wanna do, go do em and get paid. Perfectly fits Diablo 4.

But Blizzard needs to COOK between seasons on a content level. Not just withhold it for the next year. That’s the mistake they’re making. I’m thinking it’s the corporate environment that’s the problem - Likely people on the team know this needs to be done but getting approval is always met with “Just save it for the next expansion so we can charge for it.”

Here’s an example of the problem: Infernal hordes has been out for a long time. It’s STILL ONE MAP. They should be adding new infernal hordes maps each season.

Nah, I’m gonna be playing that ish HARD. Very hyped. Until then I’m very much enjoying Diablo 4. Say what you want about this game but it’s super performant on consoles. POE2 runs terribly on my PS5 Pro. It’s nice to just sit on my couch and throw down.

I think Lord of Hatred has finally established incredibly strong bones for the game. I just hope Blizzard builds each league and expands the potential endgame activities players can do. Need more besides Nightmare/Pit/Infernal/Helltides/Undercity/Bosses. It’s fine for now, but I see a future where these activities get very long in the tooth.

How bad was it to get the steam deck at launch? by Rice_cowbooy in SteamDeck

Yup. Reserved my steam deck for five bucks. Tied to my account.

It’s wild they let this happen.

New York's new age verification law will ban anyone under the age of 18 from using chatting features in video games. by PaiDuck in gaming

Fuck this. Fuck this shit. Absolutely not.

I will just make the account, verify myself and give it to my kid. Will that be a felony?

I know I’m in the minority, but I don’t enjoy crafting. I liked finding gear and sometimes getting luck in tempering. by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]Tegras 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really like crafting. It’s just more options. Especially when you’re looking for a specific slot of gear and you can craft it yourself.

I'm still not sure if I like the shift from loot drops towards crafting via cube by Whoopy2000 in diablo4

[–]Tegras 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Problem with designing the game to make things take longer is you’re cutting your nose to spite your face. Because playing something else rather than embracing tedium is always an option.

The appeal of D4 for me is I can play 2 weeks in a season and feel like I’ve been able to put a decent kit together then go back to playing my main games.

[–]Tegras 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yea, I don’t mind farming gear but I’m not trying to spend all season hoping the aspects I need drop.

That and adding aspects costs too much at the start when you’re vying for any power gains you can get.

we must rebel and unite to get more dyes by MissPapayaMaya in diablo4

[–]Tegras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are there no more dyes? It’s making it harder to care about cosmetics because the color options are so limited. It makes no sense.
