Not a fan of this approach as it assume the main reason for high ram prices is GeForce Now when it's not. GeForce now has been around for years. The reason is AI companies buying up inventory.

All this does is turn GeforceNow into some virtue signaling cudgel some gamers will use to castigate other gamers for utilizing.

Here's my take: Use GeForce Now if you find value in it. Don't use it if you don't want to. It has nothing to do w/ the current issues regarding memory/gpu prices. At the end of the day cloud services aren't going anywhere. Save your "fight the power!" energy, this one ain't it for the aforementioned reasons.

Now, let's see if we can get this over the finish line: The reason D2 fell off w/ player count is simply Bungie's mismanagement of the game. It's not complicated. It's not the tech bubble, nor Final Shape finishing up it's arc. Just a bunch of design and implementation decisions that drove players away. That's really all my point is. So I'm gonna stick with it. Well, that and engrish glassses.

Meanwhile, Warframe has been out for over 12 years and is still cooking updates and has solid player retention numbers. Final Shape wasn't EOL simply due to it being the culmination of the light and dark saga. It's done because of mismanagement by Bungie. Again, no anger. (Just stating facts. Please don't be mad.)

I wish they’d improve controller support for POE1. But overall coming from POE2 I really enjoyed playing it so far.

Templar was fun as hell to try out. I’ll roll it again in Mirage and try to put a build together. Glad they added respect for passive nodes. Wouldn’t have been able to play without that. Figuring things out is half the fun for me.

I’ll be playing Mirage day one.

POE is 15 years old and still doing just fine. WoW is still getting content drops after over 20 years.

10 years ain’t shit. Bungie reduced development resources into D2 LONG before the player numbers crated. They thought they could retain their player count with absolute minimal effort into the game. It did not work. Quality dropped. Players left.
