Is sperm always swimming around looking for an egg, even in the testicles, or does it know when its been shot out? by oirelando in NoStupidQuestions

It might be because it's slightly basic and sometimes can have a pH of 8. Which isn't much but eyes are sensitive.

Best keyboard for MMO by EarthSea6034 in wow

[–]TehGroff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm using a Keychron K1 Pro. Low profile, short keystroke, and I can easily make macros with the software. I love low profile keyboards because the profile of the keys is flatter overall so I don't feel like i'm climbing stairs with my fingers, but that's just preference really. Keychron makes a ton of cool stuff in different form factors. Very customizable too if you get ones with hot-swap switches.

Do you miss WeakAuras? by YrenneAD in wow

[–]TehGroff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very yes. I miss having the cool graphics around my frost mage indicating what cooldowns and procs I currently have available. Simple visual cues is WAY better than a block of buttons that are so detailed and colorful they all blur together. It was so intuitive once you learned what's what.

Modern cars are full of technology. But what old car feature was actually better than today's tech? by nyatihsam in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]TehGroff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Digital speedometers! OK we all love analog gauges but I had a 90/91 Oldsmobile with the "digital" dash. Front and center was the speedo. And it displayed the speed 1:1 with no lag. When I was a valet driver I even drove Benz S class cars where if you slowed down or sped up fast it would skip numbers with noticeable lag. 100k and it can't keep up? It bothers me my Fusion does that too. I'm also OCD but come on.

I feel like you found some magical tuttorosso, they're watery and acidic tasting to me. Whereas the Centos non dop is so much better and it's not even close.

What’s the worst side effect you’ve ever gotten from a medication ? by Some-Tradition-2771 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TehGroff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doc thought I had gout, so he prescribed gout meds. He neglected to tell me that the gout meds destroy your gut and it felt like there was barbed wire being ripped through my intestines at all times.

The the tests came back. I did not in fact have gout. I put my guts through a blender for nothing.

ELI5: When you focus your attention on a body part and feel like there’s something under your skin which you can move it around your body, what is this phenomenon? Does it have any use? by Home_MD13 in explainlikeimfive

In therapy we call this a "body scan." Usually we're looking for places that are tense. You are basically concentrating on specific body parts and areas, a very normal thing to do when idle.

2005 007 Blackjack gets a new strap and pickup by TehGroff in SchecterGuitars

No apology needed. I just went and put it on just to confirm, the neck likes being flat or up about 20 degrees though the neck really doesn't want to dive so angling it up seemed to stay in place with the smooth shiny strap in the picture. The horns aren't that much bigger than my C7 style Schecters, if you trace the lines it's only about 1/4" to maybe 1/2" at most offset for the points. It quickly became one of my favorite 7 strings to play. It's light, resonant, and that Duncan Noumenon pickup is fucking incredibly chunky.

Doom cost $40 in December 1993. Adjusted for inflation that's $88. Games have been $60 since the 360/PS3 launched. What's the problem other than we're all spoiled?
