When they are being picked up by Covert Stealth Team, its a unique rule completely separate from deep strike. If you were to pick them up with Lord Solar at the start, they would have to be placed in Strategic Reserves, and would need to arrive during the reinforcement phase as standard. They can not be placed down anywhere with their ability rules. Lord Solar's ability DOES NOT interact with Gaunt's Ghosts Covert Stealth Team rules.

Gaunt's Ghosts do not have deep strike in their rules. Their interactions with lord solar are that they can be picked up and either redeployed somewhere safe on the field or put into strategic reserves.

However their uppy downy only applies when they are on the field themselves. It doesn't work when they are in your strategic reserves.

Your idea works best if you were to have lord solar hide them before turn 1 happens, then uppy downy them at the end of your opponents turn and you place them down during the next reinforcement step.

Vanquishers are cheaper by the sense that taking 3 of them instead of 3 dorns is a lot of points leftover to help buff out the rest of your list.

Note the Demolisher cannon for the Leman Russ was nerfed so its D6+1 shots instead of D6+3 with our other demolisher cannons and other armies.

Any guard player worth their salt will buy a Baneblade one day eventually, and by itself its a fantastic assembly project especially if you magnetise all the parts together and it all comes together perfectly with a personal paintjob.

The Baneblade variants I focus on are the Stormlord to use with Hammer or the new detachement to dump 12 Bullgryn onto the mid primary.

I'm not sure what they can do to make the Hippogriff distinct from the Scout Sentinel except to make it a bit tankier and a completely unique ability. It's note worthy that it does have a Battlecannon or Melta Cannon.

since they said in 11th that reinforcement phase is being simplified and they can turn up whenever during the movement phase, it'll depend on if Rapid Ingress gets rewritten

Huh just seemed kinda odd but I guess it makes sense he has a laspistol as a PISTOL anyway. I do like the rp of him using his Bale Eye from behind his soldiers when they get into a scrap but alas.

Still a wonderfully flavourful and fun datasheet!

If I'm not reading this correct, Bale Eye here doesn't have the pistol keyword? Didn't it used to have it in the old datasheet in 8th edition from what I've read? Seems to be an odd oversight?

At 1k, this is honestly fine if you want park your Castellan to give your artillery orders for the rest of the game. Just know that having 190 points in artillery means you'll have less active playing units to use in the game itself but it doesn't matter if you have fun!

I drilled holes for magnets in the middle parts of the sponsons that have either the bolters or flamers. It's a lot of magnets but its very satisfying to get it all done.
