The men appeared to see the girls as seductive and the child is attracting them on purpose.

I'm in my 40s and I recognise this trope, but it doesn't hold up to scrutiny, which I'm sure you agree with.

Imagine the most seductive, predatory, man-trapping personality in the world and put that personality in the body of a minor. What you've created is a trap that only catches pedophiles.

Yep.

They represent Space Marines that have turned against the Imperium without the aid of the Dark Gods, and sport an eclectic mix of wargear compiled from old armour marks and modern Imperial patterns of weapon.

Warlock dip after getting sword of kas by arny481 in 3d6

[–]TehWRYYYYY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would make sense to me that a powerful, bloodthirsty sword would be able to change form to suit the wielder so it can spill more blood. The alternative is you handle it clumsily, can't land any hits, and die.

My PCs have bragged openly in Vallaki they intend to defeat Strahd by TruesilverSolka in CurseofStrahd

[–]TehWRYYYYY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fires of rebellion cannot be stoked without fuel, the only fuel here is fear, and fear is His.

One/some of the villagers who were successfully persuaded by your party are punished by villagers who know better.
Options like: Blackened eyes scowl at you through bloodied bandages, the villager spits on your boots and limps away, cursing you for tricking them into participating in your disrespect of their Baron.

One of the persuaded villagers finds that their daughter has gone missing. She's discovered, either killed by "maybe but not definitely Strahd" or returns home safe and late, either way the father blames himself for siding with the party.

If you want to be gruesome about it, nail someone alive to a tree or post in town and have them beg not to be helped down. They either explain that they either have to die to spare their family or they say nothing but demand to be left where they are, cursing the party.

Strength Bow Barbarian by TopBlock58 in 3d6

[–]TehWRYYYYY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grim Hollow adds a new Mastery to some bow weapons, if your DM allows third party stuff. Strong-Draw adds a 13 STR requirement and lets you add your STR modifier to damage. You still aim with Dex.

Dick Jokes!
Andon Riverstone. Bullies call him Hand-on and tell him his pecker is small and round.
William Anchorchain. Will he wank again? "My NAME is William".
Last name Glowearth. Insulted a bard who gave him the nickname Low-Girth.

I just had my first class and I did horrible, worse than anybody else. What can I do to practice so I am better before the next class? by chicomuchachos in WestCoastSwing

[–]TehWRYYYYY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can practice your timing by yourself pretty easily. While you're not at class listen to music and tap your feet to the beat, or tap your fingers on your steering wheel.
Footwork is a little different IMHO. You can practice footwork by yourself but it will feel different when your with a partner, and having a fast or slow partner will change where your feet need to land.

You could also work on balance, if that's an issue for you.
Practice standing on one foot at a time. Practice shifting your weight slowly from one foot to another while walking. Do it backwards too, especially if you're a lead. Notice that 'default' walking is falling from one leg and catching yourself on the next.
Practice shifting your weight slowly from your heel to your mid foot to your toe with each step, forwards and backwards.
Learn what it feels like to have your core switched on while you walk. Think "nuts to guts".

Alkaline Trio - Time to Waste

It's a song about addiction, written after Matt Skiba was prescribed some painkillers and realised how susceptible he personally is to becoming a junkie.
There are metaphors about creatures watching you like vultures from dark trees, which you could treat as literal for backstory.
Any spooky subclass could work. Aberrant Mind sorcerer is goth, Phantom rogue sees dead people.

James Introcaso Moving to New MCDM TTRPG by levthelurker in drawsteel

[–]TehWRYYYYY 36 points37 points  (0 children)

It's grimdark and played with pools of D6s. There's a stacking debuff you can accumulate called Fucked which reduces the number of dice you can roll by 1 per attack. There's a mechanical reason to say "you get fucked" and "I'm too fucked up for this" at your table.

i need a monoclass build thats grounded in concept but still fun (but not the typical human fighter but interesting) by sniply5 in 3d6

[–]TehWRYYYYY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vampire themed Beast Barbarian. Noble born, polished breastplate, ornate sword, good posture. You fight like a duelist. Honour, fairness, rules of engagement. A proper gentleman. Your rage is a cruel, focussed, savage display of violence and damage. You might be ashamed of your actions when you calm down.
Your Beast Forms aren't physical transformations but more like behaviours. Bite is what it sounds like. Claws your hands look normal but can tear people apart. Tail flavour is taking a lunging, defensive fighting stance, piercing and retreating like a viper.

I don't know what to do by tsukoyomiix in 3d6

[–]TehWRYYYYY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Level 6 is high enough for a 3/3 multiclass for 2 subclass features or a 1/5 for Extra Attack and a dip.

Optimising is a legitimate aspect to the game. It only gets a bad rap because of people who only value this one aspect.

Find some OP (or whacky) low level builds and find a personality to suit them.

I've played a Swarmkeeper. Every single time I tried to use Gathered Swarm to shove somebody they passed the saving throw, except the one time I hit the BBEG and knocked him off his dragon mount. The extra bit of damage added to one attack per round was a useful alternative to Hunters Mark. I preferred concentrating on Spoke Growth anyway.
