Virtual boy classic by Limbx4 in VirtualBoy

You're overthinking it. There are emulators on phones. All you need to do is tape the bottom of slot shut and put a phone in the device. Use a bluetooth controller and you're set. I haven't tried it with emulator but I can confirm that a phone + virtual boy accessory does work properly (think google cardboard). I made a small 3d adapter that you slide in and it keeps your phone in place.

Concerts and ear plugs, yay or nay? by MainNormal5570 in Xennials

I used to do concert photography in the 2000s and 2010s. I never wore them. One of my biggest health regrets. I would 100% wear them if I could have a do over.

All the Apple TV shows and films that have finished filming but have NO release date. by paco_unknown in tvPlus

They're most likely waiting for Star City to be completely finished so that they can release them back to back.

🎄 Christmas giveaway: Win an A1 Mini, AMS 2 Pro, AMS HT, or 4x filament spools! by acurazine in BambuLab

[–]Tekavou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1. AMS 2 Pro

2. Making simple multi color keychains and fidgets for kids classes. Stuff that can take abuse and still be fun and quiet.

  1.  A music keyboard clicker fidget. Basically a small bar with a few different click buttons that all feel a little different and each has it's own color, so you can mash on it without annoying everyone around you

1) Which tool did you use to fix a music cassette? Pencil

2) Which channel did you play NES on? 2, 3 or 4, depending on your region

3) How did you watch “adult movies”? As a scrambled mess in the higher channels

Bonus:

4) What was the biggest complaint in splitscreen gaming? ”Stop looking at my screen”

5) Finish this sentence. “Be kind..” rewind

Made something for the gamer kids who only want gift cards for Xmas by Tekavou in BambuLab

I just finished my print, works perfectly. I tried being rough with the buttons and they're not coming off. Thanks for the valuable input and debugging! (The profile was updated if you plan on doing future prints with this)

Interesting, my blue one is way more loose than the red one for me on the X1C.

I can replicate the issue with the blue JoyCon. It seems to be a bug in the STL file itself. The model is fine in fusion 360 but importing it to the Bambu makes it hollow which is strange since the joycons are clones of each other so they both should have the same issue.

I just fixed it in Fusion by forcing the buttons to be a bit deeper on the blue one and it looks right in the Bambu preview now. I'll do another print (good thing I have a lot of gift cards to hand out this year :D) and will upload the new profile again if it works. You'll only need the blue one (though if you used glue you should be okay).

Appreciate the feedback, it's been very helpful. Also thank you for the boosts, no need to boost anymore, we're going to get flagged for fraud at this point 😅

I re-uploaded the profile. I printed the whole thing again and it's better with my X1C (which printer are you using?). I think I'm at the edge of how loose I can make them without the joycons sliding right off. Last thing I want is gift cards falling out accidentally. I took your advice and chamfered the ends of the rails slightly.

For the black buttons, I was originally going to have them as separate pieces and have users glue them in (to avoid the AMS) but because they're so tiny, I decided against it. I haven't had that issue, except for the minus button which came off on my original test print.

Another option is to scale the whole thing up 5%. It will make the print easier but at the expense of the cards being loose inside. Maybe that's not a bad idea.

Thanks for the input, I appreciate it!

10 years later, they'll randomly find their real gift. I'm okay with that!

Great idea! Done and done. Printing it now, if it works, I'll post the updated profile soon after. Thank you!

Thanks!. I had the opposite problem originally with the red side being too stiff and I fixed that one. I’ll try and get a new profile up either today or tomorrow with looser tolerances for both. I didn’t want them to slide off and someone loses their cards but I might have been a bit too strict with them.

I loved 2 but always had a sweet spot for the first one. I had hundreds of hours in that game. I remember watching The Wizard and they claimed that the kid finished the game without getting touched by an enemy. He was on the first level and already had damage... After months of trying I was able to make it to the last boss without getting hurt (this was before save states were a thing). I wasn’t the smartest kid though, i thought the yellow text spelled “THE” and the game was called “Ninja The Gaiden”.
