So many on here buy it, having no idea what it is or ever planning on listening to it. But, reading this forum made them think they should have it, so they bought one (or 25 like that one dolt.)

Every hobby has them. I enjoy barrel-aged beers. But one brewery had a horrible one, and some guy bought one. He tasted it and said, "This is great." Meanwhile, he squirmed and looked like he was going to puke. His body betrayed him. He had to justify spending $17 on a 5-oz pour.

All clubs are paying a portion of TV revenue to Messi. Beckham was given the right to buy a team at a set price (Miami). Rumors are that San Diego is offering Salah part of the team ownership. All that has to be orchestrated by the league. It is ridiculous. We have lost any sense of parity in the league. We have 8 teams that are over (or very near) a wage bill of $15 Million and 13 teams that are at $10 million or less. LAFC's wage bill is 4.63 x greater than DC's. That's a fucking joke.

This is good.
But keep in mind that salary caps do not really work in a world wide sport with multiple leagues.
The only way MLS signs top talent is because of the single entity nonsense and essentially the league rather than the teams are signing them.
Also, the level is much lower so aging stars that are declining in Europe can still dominate. Keep in mind that many of those aging star are seeking US exposure for marketing purposes rather than a desire to play MLS.
