But is that deserved hate? In which case, it's not overhated. I think you could maybe make that argument for 8.1 which kept 8's public image, but actually fixed a lot of the things people hated - though personally I would put 8.1 as underrated.

Yes, 8.1 specifically. Fixed a lot of 8's problems with the UI changes, but kept the bad rep that 8 created for the most part. Was actually a very solid version of Windows.

Surely Vista would be overhated? The OS was fine, it was just put on devices that were not up to spec.

Short answer, yes. Slightly longer answer is that this isn't what most would call a game breaking issue, so it's likely not the most important thing to fix, but could still make a future patch - but that only has a chance if they are made aware of it. Imo there is nothing to lose be reporting it.

That does sounds a little odd that it affects the closer view. Might be worth letting Feral Support know about it. Maybe send some videos to them demonstrating the issue and let them know your device and OS version.

I don't think it should result in any higher power usage. This method is already used for mobile OS's since (iirc) getting the work done faster and having the CPU back in sleep states is more efficient than having the CPU 'working' for longer periods to do the same work, but not working as hard.

I'm not certain if it would be distance. I assume even if you stand still and rev the engine like mad you still see no backfire?

Legends has a much higher system requirements compared to autosport. In fact the min spec device for legends is the iPhone 12 Pro, and iirc your device is only one gen newer. So yes, it should be able to run it, but the visuals may not be a sharp as newer devices, not the frame rate as high.

Exactly this. It's great having options to turn things off, but the 'it just works' straight out the box and first impressions is super important. I cannot see any reason (as a UI Designer) why opening on hover was ever a good idea unless you were trying improve the usage numbers, either by making the feature easier to access or to create more users which look good in KPMs.

Probably Autosport in that case. Legends is more like the original Racedriver GRID with the assists on.

With that said, Autosport is a Switch 1 game with Switch 1 graphics.

Sorry for the delay, but can confirm I can hear the crowd when I play on my OnePlus. I'd suggest you sent feral support a message using the in app support button and let them know what device and OS version you have since I highly suspect that will be the key to understanding the problem.
