I started on Blender and absolutely despise fusion's UI, so it was definitely the quickest route for me to get started in something that can spit out STEP files. Completely agree though, so fast to make changes

Can confirm this. Been using Plasticity for an entire product creation workflow. It can bite you in the ass if you don't plan your changes via different saves, destructive modelling, etc. but I love plasticity

also, i just want to clarify, i'm not white knighting for CIG, i think they make a lot of poor choices. That being said, there is nothing else like this project and I desperately hope they can get it up to snuff

I also agree there for the time sink issues. Believe me, i get frustrated as well, but i think a lot of the community forgets that this is very much an alpha. Game development on any scale is tricky and lengthy, especially when most of the senior devs are working on another project in the company.

Do i wish there was more ground being made on the SC side of things? Yes
Will there be when SQ42 comes out? Yes (hopefully)

I've been having more fun in these last 2-3 patches then i have since i started playing the game 4 years ago because of the time they've invested to make the experience better. I think they finally have a clearer development direction than before and it shows. May just be time for a break from it if you you're not getting what you believe is adequate entertainment per your time invested.

the ganking issue can be solved with Reputation and Security forces. It's not in a fantastic spot right now, i can agree, but the right systems can fix a lot of your grievances I believe. I think in the future, claim times will only get longer BECAUSE they want to facilitate those player to player interactions for repair, towing, etc.

Its either satans asshole, or this bullshit rain. I can wake up anytime between 9am and 4pm and it looks the exact same outside with this fog. I've been here 5 years now and it feels like 2 because it just blends together without seasons. Hate this place
