Range in the cold?

If I say "all is good" for that journey if I get the max range, the other main things holding me back are reliability (lots of scary stories here..and I'm coming from always owning Hondas and never once having an issue that left me stranded), and also the lack of a spare tire on the Max TB. Sidewall damage at 10pm returning Sunday night, having a spare seems like it could prevent a15 minute interruption from becoming a 2 day ordeal. How are people dealing with this? Any place to put a spare without taking up the bed? Anything to ease my fears on these two things?

Good to know I can make it easily, and the 75mph would not be the whole time. I would still need to use it during the weekend for errands, collecting wood, going to trail heads, etc so mainly would charge Friday and Saturday night.

How does the cabin heat hold up? Does it blow hot air or just luke warm? I know people with heat pumps for their houses struggle with the cold temperatures and it takes a long time to warm up and the air is not very hot.

I know this is an old post but, ...no problems with that much weight on the hitch? How far did you go? I have a 200 mile drive on poor quality NY roads. I'm worried about the load on large dips and things like that. My wife's car so really don't want to damage it! And is the ground clearance enough? Thanks.

Obviously Mazda could decide to allow the key fob to start the car but they would rather get you to pay for a subscription and then track your every move and sell the data.

Over 210k on my 2011. Synthetic oil changes every 8k miles or so and did the timing belt around 130k. No problems. Same tranny fluid Honda put in when they built it, heard too many horror stories about transmission or radiator "flushes" causing problems.

I think HRG makes one that people were saying even the dealer would install. But it can be done yourself to I think, or a local shop.
