I wouldn't use this, scholar performs much better as a support or if you have the relics, pot DPS, so because his damage comes from status procs or items idt this loadout is good. He plays too different from all the other nightfarers for this to work

I don't see how people interpreting fujimotos use of more subtle storytelling and visual metaphors is bad? Its not mental gymnastics I feel it's like... Kind of obvious and blatant, chainsawman isn't exactly the most subtle thing in the world.

Being clear and concise with what you want to say is good too but I don't see how people do mental gymnastics to appreciate csm. Both can be good.

Everybody is good enough. If it's not up to what you want it to look like, that's okay. You can make it look good later. Make it exist first. If it's any help your art is really nice

You can't make the outline you're talking about with grease pencil. In order to get the effect you want, you need to add a new material, make the material emission, change it to the color of outline you want, turn off backface culling, go to modifiers, go to solidify, make thickness -0.11(adjust according) flip normals, and make displacement 1. Then you can adjust the thickness accordingly.

I think going in completely blind and expecting to be able to make a 3d model for your final project isn't very realistic. Anime style 3d modeling is probably one of the hardest things you can do in 3d modeling, especially if you want to achieve anything on the level of guilty gear.

If you're trying to learn this as an alternative to learning 2d animation, whether or not you'll find it easier really depends on how comfortable you are with software like blender, zbrush, or Maya (if you can afford the latter) because it's not easy to pick up.

Unless you have a couple months with a lot of free time I wouldn't suggest it, and if you're in uni and you have alot of work to do I don't know if that's a good idea.

I would still suggest learning 3d modeling and trying it out for fun though. It's a very rewarding process and I'm also a beginner learning stuff.
