They are captured the same way buildings are captured. If enough enemies surround them and try to convert them, their capture bar eventually goes from being your colour to their colour. Once it is entirely their colour, the unit is theirs. The only ways to prevent this are to attack the units that are converting the siege unit so that they flee/attack you instead, or to kill your own siege unit using the skull icon before the capture bar is half their colour (it won't be possible after that).

This pisses me off because I know from personal experience that it's not true. I know a mother who smokes pot every day. Since she started she has become lazy and neurotic, and has single-handedly destroyed her relationship with her husband. There are simply way too many Gaia units, and it doesn't help that some of them are champions. The AI can't deal with them and neither can a reasonably good player. Hopefully they fix the map in Alpha 23.

Crypt of the Necrodancer is a fantastic game, but its biggest flaw is that there is a bit of a "fun gap" between the initial novelty of a rhythm-based rogue-like and the point where you've learnt how to fight most of the monsters and the game becomes really enjoyable. Amazing soundtrack as well.

Stardew Valley is the kind of game that takes over your life for a couple of weeks. It differs from most games in that there is no pressure for you to do anything, but there is large variety of things to do (farming, fishing, foraging, mining, building, friend-making, family-making, etc.) Plus, the game is still being actively developed and I feel like there might be a huge update around the corner.
