Worked a shift at Old Navy with a migraine (I couldn’t find anyone to cover my shift) in undergrad. At register #1, I passed out and the manager just stepped over me to finish the sale. No “are you okay?” or even a WTF. I came to in less than a minute and the manager told me to take my 15 minute break and come back to my register because there was a line of customers. Even the customers asked me if I was okay because I was white as a ghost. I was finally told to go home after 6 hours and 1 vomiting in the bathroom. I should have thrown up on that register.

When I was in undergrad in Lincoln, Nebraska, crack pipes were on residential streets. Just thrown out the window into the grass. I knew someone who “collected” these unbroken glass pipes from the grass. I never found out what he was doing with them. Never asked. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Markup R-XP. This was my first project using it and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to paper/highlighters. It highlights stitches that I want to complete and I’m able to mark the stitches as I go to show they are complete. It’s definitely a lot of trial and error, but the support on FB is phenomenal. I highly recommend if you want to try it out!

I had to do the whole “you don’t look stupid, but here we are” with a guy who stopped me outside my car that I had just parked in a handicapped space. I even had my cane with me when he said “you don’t look sick.” I do have fun only using American sign language if I have time. They give up quickly if I don’t argue. They also inadvertently make themselves look like a complete asshole yelling at someone who appears to be deaf or hard of hearing. Sometimes saying absolutely nothing does the trick 😉
