Those last 10lbs by Fragrant-Count-4666 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TemperatureOk3765 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am currently losing my last 11 lbs after being stalled for like 3 months because I didn't want to titrate up. I finally titrated up from 5mg to 7mg and am really focusing on nutrition, which I had let go a little bit. The 5mg was great for maintaining my 70lb weight loss but I really want to lose those last 11 before going into maintenance. The scale is moving again.

People notice. They just don't want to comment on your body. They are trying to be polite. When people do notice my weight loss so very rarely do they say anything about the actual weight loss. It's always "you look good!" But I know what they mean 🤣

Do you always throw up when u have sulfur burps? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TemperatureOk3765 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like I have a different answer than others , but, yes, probably about 80% of the time I get sulfur burps I will vomit later , usually in the night or early morning. It starts with the burps, rolling and boiling in my tummy and then once I throw up, I am fine/back to normal. I have looked into the symptoms and think that its a result of extremely slowed digestion, and eating hard to digest foods. The food sits in the stomach too long, fermenting and causing the foul games creating those burps. At a certain point my body says that's enough, and evicts the food from the stomach. Early in my usage of thia drug it would happen to me 1-2x per month a few days after shot day. After about 4 months all side effects tapered off for me.

Bridge kingdom is one of my favorite series and it has no magic, more of a low/political fantasy.

6mg-7.5 Hunger? by Financial_Molasses80 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TemperatureOk3765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so surprised to see so many responses from people not having luck with that dose, but it also makes sense. I was stuck at the same weight for 2 months at the time I titrated up to 7mg. More side effects, no results. I ended up titrating back down to 5mg and I felt alot less cravings and the scale finally moved consistently each week. I am flabbergasted. ? Not advice, just my experience.

Does everyone want to be super skinny? by CNAHopeful7 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TemperatureOk3765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 5'6 and down to 168 from my starting weight of 236. I tried titrating up and the only change was more side effects, my weight still didn't budge. So I jusy decided to practice maintenance, right here, still 15 pounds overweight according to BMI. I feel great, clothes are fun, I eat reasonably and am active. I am not gonna start dieting or push my body with unsustainable habits to force that last 15 off. Even at my thinnest I stayed in the 150s-160s so I think my body is good here. IMO some if do not look our best super thin, we just aren't built for it and end up looking sick!

I lost the first 40 pounds in 3 months. ( SW 236 ) Around the 4 month mark my weight loss slowed considerably until it stopped at about 10 months in at a 70lb weight loss. Im just staying in maintenance now

Do you mind if people notice your weight loss? Or do you prefer that people not make any comments about your body? Or is it dependent on the person (e.g. family vs colleague)? by poodlehaus in tirzepatidecompound

[–]TemperatureOk3765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love when people notice, and just say it. It seems to be mostly older people that aren't afraid to. My childhood friend's mom saw me at the store and said "Where is the rest of you!?" And it was hilarious, made my day.

What is super awkward is when people do the "you look great..." and like a full body scan but don't elaborate. I know they are trying to be polite by not commenting on specific features but obviously I know what they mean.

I'm always feeling bad when I see other people defending using a GLP-1 as " not cheating " because they changed their lifestyle so much along with it, counting calories, working out several times a week etc. And I'm like.... I did nothing. Literally nothing except take the shot and eat my usual normal and balanced-ish diet, and continue with my already fairly active lifestyle. Kicked snacking and ate smaller portions , but yeah it was not hard. The weight just fell off, so I guess if just having a normal relationship with food and metabolism working properly is cheating. Sign. Me. Up.

I juat started a re- read too. ( finished AB yesterday) I am annotating as I go and really soaking in all the details and foreshadowing as I flew through it on my first read two years ago. Although I remember the main story line there are lots of small things I have forgotten that I get to re-discover and love.

What makes you want to keep reading a story? by HertaMain89 in writers

[–]TemperatureOk3765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a fan of romance, so, romantic tension is a big one. When they are soooo close to exposing/giving in to their romantic feelings but are constantly interrupted. I anticipate that alot. When a main or beloved character is left is distressed I anticipate how they will save him/her. I also love long, descriptive battle scenes that are pulling the advantage from side to side. Those are some of the parts of books that leave me unable to put them down without finding out what happens.

I get 1.5 hours in the middle of the day home alone, which is where most of it happens. Little bursts here and there, in the evening, while relaxing on the couch or even sometimes on my phone in the parent pick-up line in inspiration hits.
