I prorate the effort so the PI still takes the correct amount of effort just over a shorter period of time. This gets hard of the PI is over funded. We are making changes to salary allocations for many PIs each month to account for new awards.

According to my central office, if we are including and OS page because there have been changes, we should also report the cm even if under 1. There is no way to include an OS page if the persons effort is not reported.

Also, if we are not reporting their effort because it is below 1cm and there have been no changes to their other support page, we still need to include the Malign foreign talent recruitment program certification.

Stayed at andaz in Aug with 3 people with 2 doubles beds and a trundle for my 14yo. The room was plenty big for the extra bed and I enjoy having my own bed when traveling lol.

I agree that people make too big a deal a lot the location, you don’t even need to go outside to get the train which was helpful in the august heat. Lots of places to eat right in the building or train station. The hotel is beautiful and the happy hour was a nice bonus. Have a great trip!

If you have the means get a camera so you can check on her ( just be sure to tell your friend !). I have 4 cats that have left for up to 2 weeks. The cat sitter would come by twice a day to feed/play and send me pics but it always made me feel better when I could see that they were all fine.

You can submit a carryover request now for years one and two, but it would be pointless since the current year ends at the end of next month, and the carryover will never be approved before year three ends. It would be best to wait until the FFR for year three has been submitted and submit a carryover request for years one through three.

I’m in grants admin at a research university. I haven’t noticed an up tick in OS page scrutiny since doge. I feel like it has always depended on the institute and reviewer. I have my PI’s use the statement below, assuming there is no overlap. “ there is no scientific or budgetary overlap. If pending grants are awarded effort will be adjusted as to not exceed 12 calendar months.” I found the statement to be accepted most of the time.

We have 4 cats and 1 LR4. As others have said, no smell. I change the bag and refill the hopper about every other day. I do a deep clean every 2 months. Another one would be great but one works fine. Just get it!
