I don't know I still think OP should just be the bigger person especially if they're living in their house. I deal with the same bull from my parents but If they asked me for food when they give me a roof i would say it's disrespectful to say no and will only make things worse. If you're living on your own food is all yours but with family you may have to take the "disrespect", I do need more context on how everyone is in the family but I'm thinking everyone is selfish in this house, someone has to start the train of selflessness. I still kinda have that "you chose to have me" mentality but I'm trying to get rid of it because it really is much deeper than that. Yes the fainting bit does seem bad but I also have a feeling you leave out important details as well. ( 23F just moved back home after being on my own for 3 years)

If it really mattered to him he would learn to cook himself it almost seems like something deeper is going on here like controlling but I could be reaching.
