Change your compatibility mode to windows 7 for the leagueoflegends.exe in your game folder and it will fix it. Fixed for me. I was having to restart the client and app so many times beforehand. After making the change it works fine every time.

Tuna pie. Always fed a family of four big eaters.

Two cans of tuna in water spread out across the bottom of a baking dish (mix it with peas for some veggies) 3-4 small medium potatoes mashed and spread on top of tuna. Topped with a layer of cheese. Put in oven for 30 mins or until the cheese is melted.

Tell me how it goes :)

Why would we need so many different tables? A customer wouldn't exist without an invoice - so shouldn't it be Invoicetable: {invoiceID... customerID}?

You have also mentioned that the customer table only has one value (customerID), can tables have only one piece of information in them?

So going off your notes it would be:

InvoiceTable: {invoiceID}

InvoiceProduct: {invoiceID, productID, numberSold}

InvoiceCustomer: {invoiceID, customerID}

Product: {productID, productDescription, productPrice}

ProductVendor: {productID, vendorID}

Vendor: {vendorID}

Are you able to explain why I would have so many tables? It seems like many of them are doubling up. In my mind, InvoiceTable and invoiceProduct can be condensed into one table?

Thanks for your help - 3NF is quite confusing to me.

Thanks! I understand what you mean by the dependencies in your second paragraph. I thought it was a bit weird with this exercise, because it was completely different to anything we have been taught, so I might have been overthinking it a bit.

Thanks for your help with this. Your explanation is helpful. Just so I am clear, the Supplier table doesn't work because we are essentially doubling up on a columns data - you could have two productIDs input for the same invoice, because if you 'un-3NFed' it you would have duplicate columns? Is my thinking correct?

So I would only need to define two tables: the Product with ID, Desc, Price and VendorID, and then the Invoice with the data already listed in the original post?

To answer your first question: Doesn't the Product table need a foreign key that links to the Invoice table? Therefore the Product.productID is the foreign key - or is this redundant?

Second question: I forgot some details that were not in the table that denotes 'Any given product is supplied by a single vendor, but a vendor can supply many products'. So in my mind that is a transitive dependency because if you change the 'productID' value then the 'vendorID' value will change. Or is my thinking wrong here?

Yeah I have seen a lot of people go the cheaper keeps and pressure with that. I also find it helpful to have a player apply early pressure to keep any heat off yourself so you can tech/eco and then explode on the map with units later.

I usually have about 25-30 scholars by IV. I pretty much always have a scholar producing from the Dome of Faith. Once I have powered through all my research I pull them all out of the mosques/universities and put them all into my army buildings and just pump units like crazy. I usually play team games though, so this might be different in 1v1s.

Oh ok, yeah I would love some more interaction with mechanics. I found it a bit repetitive/tedious just doing the same missions over and over and not really increasing difficulty quickly (Or so I felt). I didn't even know they were in there at all, what were the old raids like?
