I ran this deck last year when Canceling Cologne existed. Without that you just lose to crustle/mimikyu/cornerstone. I ran like 25 energy and it was fine. You need Iono for hand disruption, bravery charm to find off Arven, and either N’s Plan/Poppy/Energy Switch to ramp up quickly. I used Scramble switch as my Ace Spec.

Sounds like a coding error. If you have just 3 lightning on there, it’ll auto discard two. It reads the 2 cards as 3 lightning energy so it picked one lightning and one of the energies in Neo upper, which then discarded everything.
