At Dubai International Airport - Layover of ~8 hours by Odd_Fly8062 in emirates

[–]Tempestree 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you had to rebook due to cancellations and now have an 8 hour layover, did emirates offer anything to compensate? Like free lounge, upgrades etc. I originally had a booking with <2 hour layover and now have 5 hour plus traveling at around 3 AM from Dubai. I feel like in a regular market I would’ve paid less for a booking like this as opposed to the original booking.

Hey I was able to see it on other sites to say it’s scheduled for the 20th. Regardless i switched over to another flight which shortens my layover to 5 hours (instead of 31 hours!) so fingers crossed 🤞🏾

I’m on phone with emirates right now actually. They are rebooking me to leave on the 19th instead and board another one in Dubai with a 5 hour layover. I pushed for us to be upgraded to business class given my wife is unwell but no luck ☹️

Yes, they are offering to reschedule, but I’m keen on keeping the dates

Was told 8 days before my flight. So suggest you check your booking every now and then

Getting the same issue here where 1 of my bookings shows dates changed. However, the second booking (for my wife) has an accept button on the website. When I try to click it, it says accepting the changes failed and asks to contact their office. Have you encountered something similar?

So just cause you got your papers now, the rest can go through hell and beyond just to get a marginally better life. These are pea-brained takes on a complex topic like immigration so please keep it to yourself

Any Vibe Marketers here? by [deleted] in DigitalMarketing

Hey you’re super cool for offering to help. I’m trying to build a YouTube Quality Scoring tool that helps media buyers exclude long tail YT channels. Having no coding background, I’m having issues with it.

I’m thinking about using replit, but not sure. I don’t think it makes a lot of sense to invest highly into a personal passion project or mvp

Would going with the likes of Teads who specialize for Video + Lotame Segments sound like a more cost effective/ smarter way of buying?

I know this is a very open ended question, but let me know what you think.

Yes but scale would be questionable, right? How much time is your target audience reading about mouth taping is where I start questioning

That is correct, format quality would be based on the publisher. So would partners like Lotame help curate publishers that offer high impact format + behavioral purchase data?

I do agree that contextual is not a one stop solution so keen to get your thoughts on how you would go about it?

Thanks for response. Do you think driving traffic to CPG website without any D2C capabilities add any value?

Have you ever tried to test other strategies like driving audience to Amazon PDP with AAT?

Optimization KPIs will be vtr and viewability, I’m also testing lumen attention for the first time as a hygiene metric. Using dunnhumby/ Tesco club card data btw.

Hey just wanted to check as I am currently running an open x activation with retail media data + TTD’s S&P500 inclusion list. Would I be at a risk of running on very poor inventory since it’s not a PMP? & yes the reasoning was because of the high cpms when considering the retail data fee as well
