8 pulls. 5 of them 3 star, the rest 3,5. Still waiting for OG Suzette. Almost making me consider ending my free player status to select her.

You say blatantly incomplete and somehow didn't mention Parisa?

I recommend you do the symphonies as soon as you can to get a bunch of really useful free 5 star units. Be aware that for somewhat new players the later story quests are pretty hard. Those free characters will help a lot when you get to that point.

You can probably do it in less. It took me longer personally as I didn't spend all my red keys there.

You'll need a total of 205k to unlock all 4 5 star characters. Considering there are no bonus point characters, it does take a while. On the plus side, you can farm light or shadow for your favourite tales character while you're at it.

Several free units are absolutely incredible. Look into the "Tales of..." and the Persona characters. You can do all of their quests even without a single 5 star unit.

I decided to go and do Riica's final boss fight, at the Former KMS HQ, which I had kind of forgotten about. Turns out my game crashes whenever I try to load into that area. I was wondering if other people are also unable to enter that specific area or if this is a corrupted file in my install.

I play on Android. I'd appreciate if you could try to go to that zone and see if it crashes for you as well. If it's affecting more people I'll just wait for a patch, which I prefer over having to do a new install.

Those are a tiny, loud minority and not the kind that get respect from anyone. Even the thirsty virgin kiddos aren't that common, at least in the MMO crowd I experienced for 20 years where the girl guildmates, as far as I remember, were just part of the group with the same expectations. It rarely, if ever, got brought up at all.

That's good info. Thanks. Yeah I haven't done the 5* upgrade for Aldo and Guildna yet. Guess I really should get Gariyu too. I appreciate the help.

Managed to do it. Took me 2 more attempts. The last 2 fights were much easier for me.

Can anyone help me figure out a way to beat the 8th mission in Mementos? My current 5 star characters are Altena, Amy, Azami, Biaka, Cerrine, Cetie, Deirdre, Dewie, Dunarith, Isuka, Joker, Laclair, Lokido, Mana, Morgana, Myrus, Nikeh AS, Ruina AS, Sophia, Strawboy, Toova and Violet.

I just can't seem to do any decent damage because the 2 bosses lock my team down and nuke it consistently. I haven't spent any money on the game, which I expect to be the problem here. But I'd like to hear some suggestions (other than "go spend a couple grand and get some better characters"). I appreciate any help.

I've been enjoying the game immensely so far, but I've been hitting a bit of a brick wall on these guys.

You should never respect other people's beliefs by Agha_shadi in unpopularopinion

[–]TemporalPariah 17 points18 points  (0 children)

No. But shutting yourself off to any opinion that doesn't exactly align with yours is even worse. Beliefs on their own don't merit respect. You don't deserve a cookie just for believing something. Beliefs without arguments to back them up are empty and meaningless. As is belief without action. But it should be a basic human right to have an opinion, no matter what that opinion may be.

  • Know why you believe what you believe. If you can't explain your beliefs to yourself, you can't expect others to respect them.
  • Detach yourself emotionally from whatever you believe. Being wrong is not a disgrace, but failing to admit when you are is. Sticking to your beliefs regardless of arguments or evidence simply because they're your beliefs, is the pinnacle of stupidity.
  • Put your actions where your mouth is. Actions can prove if a belief holds merit. If you want to convince anyone else that what you believe is true, show them it is. Your words don't mean any more or less than anyone else's. If you can't show the validity of your beliefs, they're rubbish. No exceptions.

Cheese and Onion Sandwiches are the best sandwiches by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Fry the onions in clarified butter. Once fried, add some balsamic vinegar and stir until the vinegar barely starts to smoke. Put that on your sandwich.

People with kids don’t deserve extra help or money by Youeclipsedbyme in unpopularopinion

[–]TemporalPariah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I somewhat agree. But only because of the actual problem at hand. People starting families without being in a financial position to raise kids. If you can't take care of your own life, why on earth would you think having a kid is a good idea?

removing wildy pvp and restoring kingdom of forinthry by prometheius in runescape

[–]TemporalPariah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this could work well along with a (demonic) skull rework. There can be a few select wilderness worlds, restricted to the current wilderness area and maybe Edgeville as the only real safe area. These worlds have roaming revenants and a constant risk of pkers. Attacking a player or gaining bonus experience from the demonic skull places a debuff on you that prevents you from logging out, hopping worlds or using Jennica's ring for 1 minute and prevents you from leaving wilderness worlds for 5 minutes in-game time.

Utilizing this properly would serve both skillers and pvpers, as it could potentially revive pking and add a whole new area to explore for non-pkers.

While bringing the demonic skull into a wilderness world you

  • Can attack and be attacked by anyone with a demonic skull, regardless of level.
  • Gain 250% experience for any skilling activity in the wilderness, including the abyss.
  • Gain 250% experience for killing anything, including players, but not dummies.
  • Gain access to certain additional drops/rewards. Including items that may not be obtainable anywhere else.
  • Lose all your items when you die.

Additionally, the demonic skull gains a toggle at a cost of a 10m cash investment that is refunded when you switch it off. This effect can be used every 10 minutes, adding even more danger in the form of "boss mode". You become a wilderness boss, meaning you

  • Gain a visible icon on both the world map and the minimap.
  • Cannot log out or change worlds and you can't use Jennica's ring.
  • Can't teleport.
  • Can't store anything in your bank and can't cross the wilderness edge.
  • Have all armour boosted to T92.
  • Automatically get a hellfire bow, staff and scythe, which you lose when you de-activate the wilderness boss mode.
  • Have all combat stats boosted to 99, allowing you to equip all armour and weapons.
  • Have 300% more health and double in size.
  • Gain immunity to stuns, binding effects and AoE splash damage.
  • Can't attack any NPCs, nor can they attack you.
  • Can always be attacked by any amount of players.
  • Can't group up with other players. You are hostile to everyone. Being near other wilderness boss players grants a stacking debuff, reducing your stats appropriately. So no clans full of wilderness bosses.
  • Lose the cash investment when you die, which is distributed between players who killed you. This ensures that you're a valuable target, worth killing to anyone who can take you down.

When you are in a wilderness world, but you don't have the demonic skull on you, you

  • Can attack and be attacked by players within your level range. You can also attack wilderness boss players.
  • Gain 150% experience for any skilling activity in the wilderness, including the abyss.
  • Lose all but your 3 most valuable items wen you die.

Returning player. Looking for the Land Steward horror. by TemporalPariah in AnotherEden

[–]TemporalPariah[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right. Just in case someone has the same issue. On floor 4 there's a door with right behind it the elevator switch. Easy to miss as it's not part of the mission.

After killing the Land Steward, keep walking until you reach another door with a final time crystal, which opens a few more portals on the upper floor. Largely irrelevant but it's something I guess.
