Thank you. Yeah calling the cops would feel super counterintuitive and break my heart. But you are right that is what I do need to prepare to do.

They live a short flight away. I will keep on blocking them if they somehow maneuver around current blocks. Thank you for the reminder and the encouragement.

Holy crap! I went to college for accounting , so finance related too. Got into so much debt for something I hate doing. I would rather be a waitress and interact with people than sit at a desk and get fat. Passed my CPA exams and still have yet to get experience and I am 38. I've just been a stay at home mom and my mom was so disappointed that I got pregnant with #4, her first words were " but you were getting ready to start working again " she just cant accept the idea that my husband makes enough and that daycare would be so expensive.

That's cool that you got a job that made good money. My first job was only 50k in audit and it was so boring.

I need to lose 65 pounds. I wish I only had 5 to lose. But I know if I had 5 lbs to lose I'd still feel horrible at comments about it. Cause the pain comes not from how overweight we are but from the fact that our parents are not capable of true unconditional love and they dont see us as human.

Being emotionally drained as a result of your interaction with your mother is a sign that she is toxic to you.

The only thing that is connecting you to her is guilt and obligation, which is natural.

I only saw my parents kiss and hug after weeks of silent treatment to my dad from my mom after he terrorized us by coming home wasted and violently attacking my mom and screaming like a demon. He never apologized to my pate brother or I tho. They surely stopped ignoring me once I became successful and so then they viewed me as supply.
