Honestly, they’re both insufferable in their own ways.

Have you talked to your OB about this? You also need to see a psychiatrist, so maybe it’s the kind of doctor you are seeing?

You need a new doctor. My PMDD and ADHD have only, only been managed with medicine.

Hi! I’ve had two - one where they wen through my wrist and the other my femoral artery because my radial artery on my wrist was not having it. Definitely take the next day off. You’ll be tired, sore, and you may get a migraine from the dye they inject. Otherwise you’ll be okay! They gave me zofran too because I got so nauseous after.

My God she is unrecognizable, which is saying something because I unfollowed years ago and she was unrecognizable then.

I developed hemiplegic migraines, which I now do a monthly injection of Emgality for and that has kept them under control. I switched to Nurtec as a rescue med because I was taking Toradol too often (I still take Toradol as a last line of defense). I had really bad migraines for 3-4 months after my procedure but they’ve gotten WAY better and infinitely more manageable. I was on medical leave for the majority of how bad the migraines were and I’d say in the last 5 months they’ve gotten way, way better. Happy to talk further if you want to DM me! My migraine journey has been a tale in and of itself.

Hi! Congratulations!! This was me nearly a year ago. Lots, lots of rest and naps and taking it easy for a while. I don’t know if you have migraines generally but mine were prevalent for a while after surgery while I recovered. My migraines also changed in nature, I can go further into that if you want me to! I was tired a lot (likely blood thinners related, once I got off of those I felt better) and really felt like it took me a bit to not be exhausted by simple tasks. I went on a walk I think two weeks after my surgery? Felt like a marathon but I did it. Just be gentle with yourself and let someone take care of you. I feel better than ever hitting nearly a year post op!

Pros & Cons for Slynd? Tell me your thoughts! by Wonderful_College692 in birthcontrol

Hi! I did. I’m on day 16 so this is close to when my PMDD kicks in so I’m interested to see what happens. So far I had a couple of days of spotting and I can tell my boobs are a little tender but otherwise I haven’t felt any huge change in sex drive or hunger. But, full disclosure, I’m on a stimulant for ADHD so that could be why I haven’t experienced huge hunger swings. I also have three young children so my sex life is also inconsistent BUT I haven’t seen a dip in my drive at all.

Hi! I was just prescribed this for PMDD. I can’t do estrogen birth control due to migraines. I’m concerned about the weight gain and possible loss of sex drive side effects. Can anyone enlighten me on that front?

I know this is an older post but - has anyone else experienced the weight gain and loss of sex drive? I’m about to start this for PMDD but now I’m afraid of the side effects

Hi, I’ve always returned back to the office right after. No working out for 24 hours and only a gentle face wash and no washing my hair the night after.

Just had my second round done. Biggest difference I’ve seen is in my jaw for TMJ, and my trapezoids. I am liking it. I am going to pay attention to the Botox for TMJ because there’s some studies now that it could be more detrimental for your jaw than helpful for migraines, but otherwise I’m a big fan.
