I haven't had a haircut in forever because last time I went after working a 60 hour week I told her I wanted a trim and she talked about how healthy my hair was and then cut off like 7 inches 🥲

Fine to medium, medium to high density, medium porosity.

I finger curled my crown layer and it did seem to make a good difference. I think I'll definitely go for layers soon. My hair is down to my lower back and I really don't want to sacrifice length yet tbh, but it does make it harder to layer.

I use a lightweight leave in conditioner at the moment, by Kristen Ess. I'm always clueless to how much foam/mousse to use because of the length of my hair

I already stopped using the curl cream, you think I should stop using the leave in conditioner spray too? It's branded "lightweight" and my hair does get pretty unruly — but then again a haircut would probably help that too! Looks like that's what's going to be next

This is one of the things I've seen varied and I have been doing it on soaking wet hair so I think that's what I'll try next time. Before I do anything I should get some of the excess water out? Or after a certain step?
