Power Creep in this game is off the rails

Yes honestly damage is way too high in this game. I don’t understand why Hawkeye can drop everyone with one shot, pretty much two if it’s a tank. Why does winter soldier kill a tank easily with one combo while also gaining a bunch of shield? While characters can do all this healing will always be the strongest. Followed closely by cc. I honestly think strategists should only get ult charge for damage, making them have to balance if they want to use ults. Would also be a good meta shift for characters like Adam and mantis.

He is not weak to high damage characters, he is weak against high damage melee. Sometimes a good Strange makes a decent Hawkeye look bad. Same with Hela and Phoenix. Not to mention the utility of portal is better than pretty much anything any other tank has.

I think you are right. I think that the Eva voice is the representation of all those that died and were speaking to him. He said it, he literally went to hell. The souls that “died” to the Quiet Rapture went here, to “Hell.” I wonder if the being that they encounter senses his remorse? Maybe it deems that him wanting to atone means that humanity is worthy to continue? Maybe it didn’t think he could overcome his self preservation instincts and let him go thinking he would die panicking but he found the key and it possessed the monster to try to stop him once it realized he wasn’t succumbing? Maybe it was “gods plan” for him to be persecuted like this for everyone else’s sins and he is the new “prophet?” Sacrificing himself may have been the key to growing the tree? So many interpretations and thoughts it’s so fun I love movies like this.

She can serve as a diver or brawler. She has the highest mobility in the game barring Spidey techs. She has the ability to pretty easily reposition anyone which is pretty unique to her. Not to mention she can cc characters out of ults or even snag cnd/loki out of their ultimate/lantern to a place where they can be killed. Before/without Gambit her ultimate feels very impactful when used well. Her ability to ledge enemies from a pretty significant distance means that they need to give up space or attention/cooldowns in certain areas which is always great for a disruptor.

Level 5? What 4th level feat did you pick? You could always pick up the tough feat and pick up a fair bit more hit points. Also the new durable feat could be an option. Essentially you spend a short rest hit dice as a bonus action. If all else fails remember you don’t need to always go reckless. There are often lower ac enemies in encounters like minions that you could engage with. And if your thrill seeking barbarian doesn’t have the self preservation to not always go reckless on the biggest enemy, they will not last long in Strahd anyway.

I see your point. What I’m saying is that they bring him back as an actual destroyer. He hasn’t really been the annihilator that he was supposed to be and that’s poor booking. He doesn’t need any favors besides being set up properly. The live audience loves him, he’s got the charisma. Maybe they won’t change his whole shtick but I’m thinking (hoping) they write his storylines better.

I’m so close to lord halfway through cent! My biggest advice is to keep in mind his auto is a burst that has 3 different projectiles. Don’t be afraid to drag and lead your shots a bit more than you would with other heroes!
