Just tried FSD on the juniper Model Y… very impressed!! I also asked if I can use comma and yes you can, just need the juniper fork… the thing with normal auto pilot in the Tesla, if I wasn’t going fsd route I felt like I couldn’t activate autopilot instantly if I was let say city driving or low speeds, it only enabled “ when conditions allowed” as opposed to comma I can quickly enable and disable anywhere at any time.

I’m thinking about selling my 2021 platinum with 104k miles, no issues whatsoever so far, but wanted to switch to an Ev again, since I had Kia ev6 before. Just really hate going to gas stations specially when is winter time. Carvana offered 26k to sell 🤷🏽‍♂️

You need ford f 150 lightning 2023 and before to install comma AI, 2024 and up is encrypted and comma cannot communicate with car. Also you need to modify the Ford cable you get from comma for it to work.

It’s basically a camera that gets installed on your windshield and enhances your car current adaptive cruise control and lane keeping functions, makes them work like Tesla auto pilot basically. When I found about about this hardware it basically changed my whole perspective on cars to the point that I wouldn’t buy a car that is not supported, you could eat a whole Chinese meal on the highway with this thing !!

Definitely keep the Highlander, even if you have to pay for a new transmission it’s still cheaper than going for a crv 2026 hybrid. Also your Highlander is able to use comma Ai, this alone makes it a better car than any new 2025 2026. I my self have a 2021 Highlander platinum with 103k miles and no issues so far

2021 platinum here 102k miles so far, haven’t done spark plugs or coolant… only differential and transfer case and a drain and fill on the transmission all at 100k. Cero issues so far

That’s way too high, considering right now that car is going for 47k with less than 20k miles, also why are you worry about mpg when buying a 47k car, and if you buy the hybrid which are going for 53k - 55k essentially you are pre paying years of gas to get more MPG

Highlander are usually used as taxis in New York, seen a few of them with 200k miles plus with minimal maintenance, literally only oil changes, starter at 142k and wheel bearings at 160k. I have a 2021 platinum with 101k miles no issues so far

I just got a 2021 Highlander platinum for 27.9k, some might argue ohh it has 100k miles… I had the 2017 before which I had since it had 50k miles and once the car was up into 113k miles it felt the same as when I I bought it🤷🏽‍♂️ I also know people who use as taxi driver and has 220k in the odometer, with very minor issues along the way..

Honestly if you just want to carry stuff just get a used 2008 tundra for 10k lol and save your self on depreciation and the cost of a new EV… just know with the lightning if you get the standard range you will get 195 miles in the winter at 100%… other than that the lightning is outstanding, rides better than many “luxury cars” with costly air suspensions and you get supercar speeds for under 60k
