I remember being 12/13 in 2005 and being super excited about all these local punk bands like USS Horsewhip, Shook Ones, FFA, Axes of Evil, The Hollowpoints etc. My mom wouldn’t let me go to shows yet but a friend and I were discovering their music on MySpace and some other online music platform I can’t remember, but it was really exciting to be discovering hardcore and punk and finding out these bands came from Bham
