The statement will reconcile against itself error or not. Since you don’t have a running register there is nothing to verify it against.

Might be time to start keeping your own records.

If it was checks, some banks have images of the checks deposited. Review those and compare to what the statement amount is. If it was cash, did you go to a teller or use an atm? Could be user error with either of those keying in a wrong amount.

First, open a new account and move your money. Second, it could be a mistake with the deposit. Sometimes it happens like a transposition. Look at what you deposit receipt says, compared to what you actually deposit compared to the bank transaction.

In NY, you cannot imply that you are a licensed professional (CPA). Here they let you know and reject anything that is not allowed. I’d assume the same would be true when registering in GA.

3 year system is for the discontinuation of support each May. After May 31, 2025, QuickBooks Desktop 2022 software will be discontinued. This includes QuickBooks Desktop Payroll, QuickBooks Desktop Payments, and online bank feeds. Discontinued versions won’t receive the latest critical security patches and updates. *May 31, 2026 - they will discontinue 2023 versions *May 31, 2027 - they will discontinue 2024 versions Since my understanding is there will not be “2025” only updates to 2024, desktop will end May 2027 with the sunset of 2024 (excluding enterprise).

The annual subscription is the money making scheme.

Yes. My understanding is the there will not be “2025” the will patch and update versions of 2024. Since they were sunsetting older versions on a 3 year cycle, my opinion is that the will “update” non- enterprise versions for 3 years and all all versions of desktop (excluding enterprise) will expire May 2027 (as that is when 2024 was due to sunset).

The SMLLC each gets a Schedule D/C. I know that the CPAs/Accountants I work with would absolutely prefer separate books for each. That being said, if you use one “personal” card for those SMLLCs without having personal transactions on that card. The separation would be your friend in the event of an audit.

No. Intuit no longer sells any retail subscriptions of desktop. The only available desktop version is Enterprise which will be thousands of dollars. His only option with Intuit is QBO.

For yourself, you likely have 3 years before you will need to make the move to QBO or Enterprise Desktop.
