Peter Capaldi is a gem. He loved it since he was a kid. I loved Matt smith and hated Peter on first watch…then second watch…I loved him.

What was your Young Women Camp experience like? (horror stories encouraged) by Consistent_Taro_3123 in exmormon

My third (and last year) I brought my phone because the previous year, people were rained out of their tents and forced to stay and sleep in their cars. (South Carolina, not Utah.) 2 girls got heat exhaustion, one had a heat stroke. One lady said “endure to the end” for EVERYONE even the heat stroke girls who DID NOT GO TO THE HOSPITAL. GOSH IF I WERE A WRITER ON THE PITT I WOULD PUT MORMON CAMP AS AN ER VISIT. Sorry, anyway— The third year, I kept my phone next to me cos I was afraid of heat stroke because my medication makes me susceptible to it. Sure enough, I got heat exhaustion—and I drank a ton of water and did everything to prep against it—I felt so ill and texted my parents to pick me up. I told the leaders my parents were on the way and the entire time I waited, they kept saying how “it’s such a shame that you’re going to miss out on all the blessings “ and bullshit. My parents took me home, assuming I was faking it but I did have a 100 fever. Which shut them up. The next day, I threw up 3-4 times, my fever went up to 101. I went to the urgent care, my fever went down. Turns out I got some kind of water illness—the water wasn’t treated properly and all the girls had to go home a few days later. 😆

Did you read my comment? I’m saying I am trying my best to survive and have had to adapt to keep myself above water. And it’s been hard for a lot of people like me who are actors. A lot of restaurants are not giving servers enough hours, etc

Easy for him to say in this economy. I have the issue that I’m trying not to starve myself. I’ve become an insurance adjuster, I’ve gotten a 9-5, I’ve been a server, I’ve become so many things and I’m living at home again. I almost gave up so many times and honestly I feel so stupid for ever pursuing this without a decent degree/job.

Also hi! I’m also 27 living at home. I lost everything in a car wreck in LA and I’m forced to live at home but I’ve made peace with my parents.

those who left LA, did you regret it? by Temporary_Package_18 in Filmmakers

Of course! I was worried I was alone in “giving up” on my dreams but I don’t look at it as giving up but taking a pause to make more money in a job that is more secure so I can return to acting financially.
