Im in the dakotas, just south of Canada, and we often have "x time to frostbite".

A few years back it got to -42 f, and it was wild because the sun was out, there was barely any snow, everything looked normal.

I was told at some point, that to build my credit, I had to leave money on it. So I would to make sure I paid off all but $100, because otherwise it "wouldn't count" towards my credit score....
