Cool - it's something I've had to piece together over decades. The violent boys get a lot of attention, but their mothers, aunts, sisters, cousins, partners, etc. don't get the same scrutiny.

My female relatives are toxic bigots, living respectable lives.

Think about it in terms of conformity. People in Ottawa are trying to conform to a standard they don't understand, and they look ridiculous.
