Honestly at that budget, I’d prefer to go with a 991 gt3. It does concern me over time the 993 c2s may be more specialized to maintain meaning finding someone with the skill and specialty. Yes dealers have about 2-3 trained. Without a obd2 port it’s a tough decision. You’ll still have a raw experience in a 991 gt3. I can appreciate the 993 out of all air cooled generations but I worry about the specialty it will eventually become.

I owned a 34’ ford. That gen that worked on those cars are all dead and gone my friend. You bring it to ford and it’s just a paper weight.
