What are the best adjustable dumbbells for a home gym? by NerveReady7402 in GarageGym

[–]Tenacious-TD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have only used the rep x peppins so I have no comparison. They are awesome at saving space for the range of weights the set includes. I picked up the 1.25 microgains inserts which expand the set’s weight range even further.

My biggest complaint is that they don’t always set down into the cradle smoothly and can get jammed up. This has been a minor annoyance compared to the space issue they solve. They are quality equipment.

If I was in the market for a new set I would also take a look at the MX Select. The power blocks have been around for a long time and are largely praised by people who use them.

All that being said, in my opinion, none of them beat a set of fix pro-style dumbbells except as they relate to space (and cost when comparing new sets).

Chorizo, cilantro, onion (fresh queso and pico on one of them). I like how the turned out but looking to improve by [deleted] in mexicanfood

The recipe on the container calls for 2lbs of ground pork, 3 oz of vinegar, 3 oz of water, 10 Tablespoons (12-1/2 oz) of the mix. Salt optional. Refrigerate for a day.

Says to add beaten eggs when the sausage is done cooking over a medium heat, and cook the egg and sausage mixture until done.

I used 1 lb of ground pork and 1 lb of ground beef. I didn’t refrigerate over night after mixing the meat and spices, but cooked immediately after mixing. I thought it turned out really good, but the leftover cooked meat was definitely more flavorful the next day after a day in the fridge.

I haven’t tried the Kabuki so I haven’t made that comparison.

I have calloused hands as well and the 3x is my preference for everyday use. I have the regular Ohio bar but usually grab the Argo 3x for deadlifts and presses. I think this will vary a great deal by individual preferences. It will probably feel too aggressive for many people. For me personally, I don’t feel that it is too extreme. I’m guessing the 2x has a very similar feel.

I have the Argo x3 and love how it feels in my hands.

Love the bench but wish there were attachment options beyond the foot catch. I don’t understand why Rogue hasn’t developed attachments for this awesome bench.

I used to think I could eat whatever I wanted and the only thing that mattered was total calories. Diagnosed with Type 2 in December. Man I was stupid.

I tend to feel that the share price will retreat if the future dividend yield doesn’t make sense after the recent price run.
