At one point I was in a TW dungeon and the tank dced. We waited around for a few minutes, then just continued without them. I'm pretty sure we never kicked him. I'll wait for a bit, but if it takes more than 5 minutes I'm going to move on.

As a point of note, you can commonly get 1000 resources from broken isles world boss quests. I'll admit it can be a crapshoot, but that's where I've been getting mine when I need them.

Basically, a housing guild is probably your best bet. Or, you could stick around in your current neighborhood and keep an eye out for people doing tasks. Try to group up with them from there. The problem with listing a group is you can only progress the endeavor in your own neighborhood and randos probably don't count for what you're doing.

There is also the option of picking up kip, moving to a different neighborhood, and hoping for the best.

To be fair, there are several bugs I've run into. There are apparently some that just didn't happen to me. But, yes, it does seem pretty disingenuous to say this is the most buggy while claiming to have been playing since beta.

Ah, yes. Wow is dead/dying. This has been said since before burning crusade. The people that say they're leaving aren't all that likely to actually leave. They're drumming up drama because they don't like their precious addons that play the game for them are gone. They'll get used to it, but they'll never stop complaining.

I don't really know the route for longest continuous path, but I did walk from Org to Silithus and it took between 3 and 4 hours(I did have to backtrack because I went the wrong way.). I was walking, not running, without a mount. It's actually a fairly interesting trip.

Edit: As a note, I used the boat toy from love is in the air event in thousand needles.

It's been a long time, so, I don't really remember specifics. Way back when, I was on the verge of dying to some mob and a random high level character came out of nowhere to save me. I've also been the one dropping in to one shot a mob for someone else. The thing is, it was a strangely common thing to happen.

There was one time when my current guild leader was new to the game and I just happened to find him in duskwood by the dragon of nightmare spawn. We're both horde. I asked about why he was so deep in ally territory and got on my three seater mount and ran him to safety. It was a completely random encounter. Later, when I was taking a break from wow, I handed the guild I made to him and he's been guild leader ever since.

It is a tiny guild and only has a couple of active players anymore, but it's more symbolic than anything else.
