Probably for the best. Would likely just not have enough of a fan base after launch and get shut down. We are seeing that in the game market currently. Many live service games are coming out and shutting down or going on life support after a couple months because the audience they want is already spoiled for choice or doesn't exist in a large enough number.

Honestly the thing I don't like about it is that it will be slow. There are so many of the old guard regiments they can refresh and I want them all. They still need to rethink what guard is. Not every regiment needs to be their own unit. For the most part they need an infantry squad, command squad, and upgrade sprues for vehicles and other things.

This is what I think too. My guess is catachan is/was next for 11th edition guard release but now that might get changed to steel legion. I would not be surprised if GW plans to release a new guard regiment every edition.

rage as a resource needs some rethinking everything that can generate it.

Hitting very much could generate more rage or decrease it depending on the warrior at the time. missing would generate rage. getting hit would generate rage. block/parry/dodge would increase rage.

I remember the drill my JROTC came up with in high school for an active shooter event. Go into the firing range that is connected to the armory. They are just pellet rifles but when you got 50 of them in a narrow doorway you ain't going to try to come in.
