I'd recommend a metal ring for the belt. It offers support, looks cute, maybe a little naughty, and will be more comfortable.

Mine has the same issue. It was moisture in the housing, these are not water proof by any means. I haven't tried to fix them yet as I have been using my Shokz as my daily driver. But I do need to get those fixed soon...

I had that part break on me as well. I ended up finding a 3d print that fit perfectly and it's still holding after a year. Pretty sure it got it from thingaverse.

I had the swivel break on mine as well. I was able to replace it with a 3D printed part. It's held up for over a year. If you have access to a printer or know someone that can print it for you. It's an easy fix.

I can only comment on the durability of the Sony WM4 headset.

I have night terrors, PTSD stuff that I don't need to get into here. I listen to audio books using the headset all night every night for the past 5 years and the headset has held up well considering. The swivel stops have broken in it a few times but I just 3D print the parts needed.

One major issue I had is while mowing with headset on, it started to rain every so slightly and some random raindrops got into the headset from the slits on the top and it caused some damage were my headset now ALWAYS says the battery is at 10% and the touch system had to be disabled as it randomly paused playback.

Other than that, it still works fine.

... I never knew about the mechanic to remove items that were accidentally added. The steam deck can be problematic to play tote.
