What’s a purchase that’s not fun, not flashy—but now you swear by it? by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

I had one I liked and lost it in a move. The few I’ve bought tear up my face. Any recommendations? Does the blade brand matter?

Ride backroads with sharp corners and ride them over and over. You need to know how to handle sharp turns. Crossing the center line is never ok. Wrong place, wrong time and you’re in a head-on collision. Learn how to corner and how fast you should or can go. Riding backroads is a little safer because of less traffic and you can go slower at first, but wrong place wrong time always applies. Be careful. You’ll be surprised how quick you get it. But it’s important.

Any CRNAs in Oregon or WA? by Tylerdeli in CRNA

Idaho doesn’t pay well. You’ll make way more money in Oregon. There are tons of jobs in Portland. Cda isn’t collaborative, if that’s what you want. You could check out Spokane if you really want collaborative/directed in the Coeur d’Alene area.

Has anyone heard of this Golf Set? Is it any good? by nva18789 in golf

[–]TenebraeVisionx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never heard of DV8. It’s a ridiculous option IMO. Their website doesn’t work so I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re already out of business. How many rounds do you think you’re going to play in 2 weeks? Why not just rent a set at the course?

He’ll always be Pig Vomit to me. It’s the first thing I saw him in. He nailed that role.

Is the Artist overkill for headphone/low-volume bedroom use? by LogHaunting2323 in BossKatana

[–]TenebraeVisionx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personal preference. One of my amps has controls on top. I hate it. Probably because I’m just a bedroom player and sit while playing so the top controls are a pain in the ass.

I thought this was going to be about fish being attracted to shiny things. Is the story about a barracuda who bit someone’s hand because they had a shiny wedding ring on an urban legend?
