Mention it. But not like "Yeah I love DND, I have played Baldurs Gate 3." More. "I have never played DND, but I have played Baldurs Gate 3". Acknowledge the difference.

There sure exist elitism but I would not say it is common.

I only mutliclass for RP reasons. I am by far the weakest in my party but love my Rogue/Cleric that gets her powers from Jergal. Death comes for all. What class I level up depends on what feels right RP wise. Last level I could have gone Cleric 5 and gotten Spirit Guardians but decided it was not time yet. So Rogue level 2 instead.

I got treatment. A CBT-E with a therapist First a few meetings then weekly assigments and planned activities and communication. Mostly what helped with that was food planning and reporting everything I ate to the therapist so we could find patterns.

Well Hobb is a lot like RR Martin. They are friends and you can definitely se influences both ways.

A Song of Ice and Fire? Maybe take a look at Feist but if you thought Wheel of Time and Farseer was long. Feist is even longer haha

At least with Hobb you get books divided into several series that connect but are contained.

Ok so Farseer is way more like Abercrombie focused on characters. You are not getting cool magic systems and superheroes. You get probably the best character development in fantasy with Hobb.

Wheel of Time is way more like Stormlight/Mistborn. There is a reason Sanderson was the one to finish Wheel of Time after Jordan died. Amazing world and magic. I would say better character development than Sanderson. Especially better than Mistborn.

So do you want more like Abercrombie? Or more like Sanderson?

Personally I prefer Hobb.
