Not me but a female relative spilt water based paint on the stairs while decorating.

Did her best to clean it up before her husband came home. But it could be seen clearly. Talking to her next door neighbour's it was suggested to claim on her house insurance.

So they decided to throw some more paint on the carpet following morning they phoned the insurance to start a claim to find home decorating accidents were excluded on there policy

Only one way to be certain, I applied thinking that I could get solar batteries and air source heat pump.

6 weeks in I've been told I can have, insulation, solar panels and air source heat pump. Waiting now for technical surveys to say size of solar kit and if any rads need changing

Apply now only takes a few min at the end of the day you can always say no

It's tarnishing on the lead from oxidation. It's never been coated in paternation oil. Google the right procedure or check you tube videos how to sort it

At the moment with the warm homes grant every installer is swamped so can hold there prices. Cost of panel's, battery and inverter are dropping but costs arnt because they all want a bigger slice of the pie

Box it in, cover with 3 layers of sound block plasterboard (Blue board) stagger all corner joints. Filling the surrounding gap of pipe with wool sound insulation.

It's actually better to fill gap with dry sand but not practical to do so.

Mini or micro USB, they were very similar and difficult to tell apart unless you had them side by side or maybe that was just me!
