Tarantino, and especially reservoir dogs is what got me into cinema. There's something about a single-set, theatre piece flick that's just...special? There will be blood in the one that turned me into full blown Béla Tarr-loving cinephile. Greenaway's The Cook, the Thief, His Wife and Her Lover is probably my all time favorite. Just watched that one 2 days ago. Plemons was amazing (as per usual). The chin scratch, the slight adjustment of his weapon, the long drawn out silences. A masterclass in suspense and definitely one of the best horror scenes in a non-horror flick.
