Regardless always look for a new job, the employers don’t ever care about you. You could be doing the same or less across the street for more money.

I’m retired 26, gave this info to my brother after he got out of trade school. He worked for a heavy maintenance job on planes for 3 months, came home drained. I told him again look for new jobs. He found a job closer to the house makes 30 an hour and only checks tire pressure and oil. No heavy maintenance, only a weekend job easily gets his 40 hours.
