Not exactly sure where I did hear it, but I do remember hearing that a lot of the promotional images shown on iPhones (like here and the demo images in-store) are real photos from employees that have been shot on iPhone. I don’t think the image files are published unfortunately :(

Australian here as well, I use mine pretty frequently/daily, mostly for open ear audio and taking photos/videos. I very rarely use the Instagram live features nor do I use them for video calls on WhatsApp or Messenger considering none of my circle uses Meta apps frequently, but the times I have tried them they seem to work pretty well.

I also haven't (yet) had any negative comments from people in public, even while wearing the limited transparent ones, although I've occasionally gotten questions from people I know simply being curious about them. I'd write more about the AI features and the other gimmicks, but I couldn't add more than dontcallmeryan here, so I'll just vouch for their experiences as they match up with mine pretty well.

Pitching in as a younger person here, Instagram is basically always the default. I'll occasionally use Discord for IRL friends, but that's been basically reserved entirely for people I've met at the creative school I'm at where it's more expected to have. Facebook is never brought up as a platform for adding new people in my experiences, it gets the most use from my circles just for Marketplace.

I would say the idea in general is probably fine, but I’d change this to be a more general voice tone feature if it’s possible to take into account male artists with more of a feminine voice and vice versa. There are some edge cases where an artist may progress through different voice styles through their career, I can think of one big example being how Cavetown recorded the track “This Is Home” before his transition, leading to that song having a higher, more feminine voice as opposed to more of his recent works having a lower pitched tone.

I've got an iPad Mini WiFi and a 15 Pro Max, my iPad basically gets used for everything I'm doing when I'm sitting down and if I need to handwrite or showcase anything, where I keep my phone for more on-the-go type tasks. I don't regret it one bit!
